Tallahassee Democrat: Tallahassee trade mission leaves Tuesday for China
A trade mission from Tallahassee composed of business, government and university leaders leaves Tuesday for a five-day visit to Rugao, China, the Mayor’s Office announced this morning.
Led by Mayor John Marks, the delegation will meet with business leaders and education officials. Also scheduled Thursday is an official Sister City signing ceremony with Marks and Rugao Mayor Yonghua Jiang establishing formal ties between the two communities. Read more »
Mayor Marks and Business/University Leaders to Visit Rugao, China
TALLAHASSEE, FL – Today the City of Tallahassee, in partnership with the Economic Development Council (EDC) of Tallahassee/Leon County, announced a trade mission of Tallahassee business, academic and government leaders to Rugao, China. The delegation, led by Mayor John Marks and consisting of representatives from the Tallahassee business community, Florida State University and Florida A&M University, will explore business and academic partnership opportunities and take part in an official Sister City signing ceremony.
